Zoe Abrams joins from Barnardo's to become the new Executive Director, Communications & Engagement at The British Red Cross
We are delighted to announce our latest appointment to The British Red Cross Executive. Zoe has been appointed as the new Executive Director, Communications & Engagement.
Below is a statement by The British Red Cross Chief Executive, Mike Adamson:
I am delighted to announce the appointment of our new Executive Director, Communications & Engagement.
Zoe Abrams joins us with a great mix of experience in both the voluntary sector and central government. Most recently she has been Director of Marketing Communications at Barnardo's and prior to that she worked at the Foreign Office, the Department for Education and Defra, and latterly was the Head of Strategic Communications at the Ministry of Justice. She has also worked as a parliamentary intern and has an outstanding academic background.
Zoe came across as intelligent, ambitious and committed to making a difference to all of us who met her. She has great experience of press and policy advocacy together with the use of digital as well as traditional media. She also brought warmth and a sense of humour to bear in the meetings.
She will start on Monday 7th December. I know you will join us in giving her a warm welcome.
