CEO - RASASC

Posted 15 April 2024

Job description

Are you a passionate advocate for survivors of sexual violence, committed to providing exceptional support and driving positive change? Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre (RASASC), located in Croydon, South London, is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our organisation in delivering vital services to women and girls who have experienced rape and/or childhood sexual abuse.

At RASASC, our commitment to supporting survivors of sexual violence is at the core of everything we do. For nearly four decades, we have provided a safe and empowering space for women and girls to heal, grow, and reclaim their lives. Our comprehensive range of services is designed to meet the diverse needs of survivors, ensuring that no one is left behind.

We understand the profound impact that sexual violence can have on individuals and communities. That's why our team of dedicated professionals, including counsellors, advocates, and support workers, are committed to providing compassionate and rauma-informed care to every survivor who needs our support.

Our 24/7 rape and sexual abuse support helpline has provided invaluable support to thousands of survivors of violence and is a key area of pride. However, our work extends beyond our helpline and counselling support. Through our advocacy and casework services, we support survivors in navigating complex systems and accessing their rights, whether it's within the Criminal Justice System or in securing safe housing and financial stability.

Prevention and education are also central to our mission. We believe that by challenging societal attitudes and promoting healthy relationships, we can create a future where sexual violence is no longer tolerated. That's why we conduct outreach programs in schools, provide specialised training to professionals, and engage in community partnerships to raise awareness and prevent sexual violence.

At RASASC, we are more than just a support centre – we are a community of survivors, advocates, and allies working together to create a world free from sexual violence. Join us in our mission to empower survivors and transform lives.
