Overseeing a transformation of our people and OD strategies, this role will be absolutely at the heart of ensuring we create a future-facing environment for our staff, so they are able to deliver on our mission in an empowering and effective way. With responsibility for HR, facilities, travel and security, internal communications as well as shared oversight for information management and technology, you’ll report to the Chief Executive and will be a critical member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). Candidates will have a broad portfolio of relevant experience and are likely to have held senior roles within INGOs or the wider charity sector. Outcome-focused and exceptionally well-organised, you’ll have an impressive track record of designing and implementing lasting positive change. You’ll work with the grain of our workforce at every level, understanding their strong intrinsic motivation to be part of our mission and making them proud to be part of the international CARE federation. Able to prioritise and work in an agile way, you’ll relish the chance to play your part in growing CARE’s reputation as a leader in humanitarian and crisis work.
