We are seeking a Managing Director to lead our business through its next phase of growth and impact. This is an exciting opportunity for a visionary leader with a strong track record in business leadership, consulting, and social justice to drive our strategic agenda and deliver our ambitious plans for 2025 and beyond.
The Role
As Managing Director, you will:
Lead the Business: Oversee Cadence Partners’ executive search, people consultancy, and EDI service lines, ensuring alignment with our mission and strategic goals.
Drive Growth and Innovation: Work with clients to co-develop bespoke consulting products and services that meet their evolving needs, ensuring Cadence Partners remains at the forefront of the sectors we operate in – civil society, health and social care, creative industries.
Inspire and Manage Teams: Lead, mentor, and inspire a talented team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture that delivers exceptional results.
Ensure Operational Excellence: Oversee project delivery, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and client expectations are consistently met.
Commercial Strategy: Lead the commercial strategy of the business, driving sustainable growth while balancing commercial and mission-focused priorities.
Champion Social Justice: Continue to embed a commitment to tackling social and racial injustices into all aspects of the business, acting as a visible advocate for equity and inclusion.
About You
We're looking for an entrepreneurial, values-driven leader with the following qualities:
Proven Leadership Experience: A track record of successfully leading teams and managing businesses, ideally with experience in consulting, professional services, or a related sector.
Strong Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to oversee complex projects, ensuring delivery to the highest standard.
Client-Centric Approach: Exceptional skills in working with clients to co-create solutions, with the ability to identify opportunities and design innovative, impactful services.
Commercial Acumen: Experience in pricing strategies, negotiation and driving sustainable business growth.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with the ability to navigate challenges and identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
Commitment to Social Justice: A deep understanding of and passion for tackling social and racial injustices, with the ability to embed these values across all business activities.
