If you’ve ever thought, “surely there must be a better way to deliver services than this!”, then Public Voice offers an exciting opportunity. Public Voice are a Community Interest Company (CIC) with a mission to improve public services and neighbourhoods through user engagement. They do this through collecting the combined voices of citizens, gathering evidence and ultimately taking action to bring about positive change. Founded in 2014 and based in Tottenham, they now operate across London, where they are in a number of sectors, and have an excellent reputation for their work.

Public Voice want to see a world where providers of public services and housing respond to service users; people are empowered to influence decisions; and commissioners of services ensure that providers are required to be proactive and responsive. Their ground-breaking model – Understand, Interpret, Design – has transformed the way many organisations engage with service users. As they mark their tenth birthday, they are proud to be their clients’ first choice in user engagement and service improvement.

The role Non-Executive Directors play is fundamental to any organisation’s good governance and overall success. The Board of Directors are ultimately responsible for ensuring that Public Voice fulfils its purpose through effective leadership which demonstrates courage, collaboration, integrity and inclusion. We are particularly keen to hear from those with expertise in at least two of the following areas of finance and audit, strategy and growth, HR, communication and marketing, bid and proposal writing, networking and stakeholder management, co-design and co-creation, business development and thought leadership with regards to insights evidence and using data to create impact.

This is a hugely exciting time to become a part of Public Voice. If you are committed to improving services through user engagement and co-production and have the vision and ambition to take an already successful organisation to its next stage, we would love to hear from you. You could be a first-time serving on a board or someone with extensive experience. We actively encourage applications from all backgrounds and are committed to inclusion within our board and workforce.
